I purchased two of these phones for my parents who have trouble hearing conversations on a traditional phone. It is very helpful for them to have added volume, large numbers and large caller ID

After many attempts at various types of phones, I purchased Sempre phone for may father who is hard of hearing and wears hearing aids. He has had extreme difficulty communicating on phones. This phone's increase volume has helped tremendously. My dad reports that he is having a much easier time hearing people. The voice-boost feature, however, doesn't appear to help to amplify his voice very much--the sounds seems over-modulated. We've experimented with holding the mouth-piece at varying distances from his mouth, which seems to help.
